Radio alarm function

The volume of the alarm can be programmed (see “7.3. Device set-
tings” on page 39)
Melody
To deactivate the alarm: With the device in standby mode, press the
A L A R M
button of the relevant alarm (alarm 1 or alarm 2) several times in succession until
no alarm symbol can be seen.
8.2.1. Alarm
interruption
When the alarm signal sounds, press the
S N O O Z E / D I M M E R
button on the
device to interrupt the alarm.
SNZ
appears on the display. The alarm is stopped
and is then repeated after the time interval set in the device settings.
8.2.2. Switch
off
When the alarm signal sounds, press any button other than
S N O O Z E /
D I M M E R
to switch off the alarm.
If you do not switch off the alarm, it stops automatically after 10 minutes and will
sound again 24 hours later, depending on the alarm setting.
8.2.3. Auto Snooze Function
When the alarm function is switched on, the alarm signal will sound for five minutes
until the alarm is ended by pressing the alarm button. The alarm will end automat-
ically either after the corresponding number of minutes entered in the device set-
tings or after a maximum of two hours.
8.2.4. Sleep
timer
Here you set the time interval after which the radio should switch itself off.
Press the
U S E R
/
S L E E P
button repeatedly until you have set the desired
time (between 5 and 120 minutes).
The sleep
symbol appears on the display, and the radio will automatically
switch off once the set time has elapsed.
To switch off the function, press the
U S E R / S L E E P
button repeatedly until
O F F
appears on the display.
8.2.5. Stopwatch
Press the
T I M E R
button to call up the stopwatch function.
Press the
T I M E R
button again to start the stopwatch.
Press the
T I M E R
button again to stop the stopwatch.
Hold down the
T I M E R
button for a little longer to deactivate the stopwatch
function.
