8. Operation
8.1. Switching on the loudspeaker
Press and hold the
button to switch the speaker on.
The device is in standby mode and automatically switches to Bluetooth mode. The
BT button flashes blue.
NOTICE
The loudspeaker will automatically switch to minimum energy con-
sumption mode if no signal is received for a long period of time.
8.2. Connecting audio equipment
Also comply with the operating instructions for the device to which you will con-
nect the loudspeaker.
Switch off all the devices before connecting them to each other.
You can connect a number of different audio devices to this product, e.g. an MP3
player, a CD player, the receiver of your stereo system, a computer or even your tel-
evision.
8.2.1. Connecting devices via LINE-IN
You will need an audio cable. Your device is supplied with a 3.5 mm stereo jack to
3.5 mm stereo jack connection cable for connecting audio devices.
Set the audio device to a medium volume. Then switch it off.
Connect one 3.5 mm jack to the headphone socket or
LINE OUT
connection of
the output device and the other to the
LINE IN
connection on the speaker.
Switch on the speaker as described above.
You can start listening to music.
8.3. Connecting a device via Bluetooth
The Bluetooth mode enables the wireless reception of audio signals from an exter-
nal Bluetooth-compatible audio output device. Ensure that the distance between
the two devices is no greater than 10 metres.
NOTICE
Only one Bluetooth audio source can be paired with the device at any
given time.
8.3.1. Bluetooth-compatible output device
Follow the instructions below to connect a Bluetooth-compatible audio output de-
vice:
Switch on the speaker as described above.
Press the
BT
button on the speaker if the device does not automatically switch
to search mode.
