prevent power consumption when switched off.

Operate the mains adapter for the loudspeaker only on
earthed socket outlets with 100–240 V ~ 50/60 Hz. If you are
not sure about the power supply where you have set up the
device, please ask the power supplier.

To avoid damage caused by unwanted warming, do not cover
the speaker’s mains power adapter.

Do not continue to use the speaker’s mains adapter if the hous-
ing or the supply lead to the device is damaged. Replace the
mains adapter with one of the same type.

Use only the supplied mains adapter, or one that corresponds to
the technical values (see “Technical details” on page 32), other-
wise you could cause damage.

Disconnect the mains adapter for the loudspeaker from the
mains power if you are going to be away for a long period or
if there is a thunderstorm.
5.3. Installation location
In the first few hours of use, new products can give off a typi-
cal, unavoidable but totally harmless smell which wears off with
time.
We recommend that you ventilate the room at regular intervals
to counteract the smell. We have taken appropriate measures
during the development of this product to ensure that levels are
well below legal limits.
ATTENTION!
Damage to the device

The speaker is protected against splashing water. Never im-
merse the speaker in water or any other liquids! If liquids get
into the device, switch it off immediately and contact the Me-
dion Service Centre.
