Using the image stabiliser

The image stabiliser helps you to take better photos
when lighting conditions are poor. It reduces the risk of
camera shake.



Select “

Stabiliser

” from the camera menu and

switch the function on or off as required.

Using the fl ash

If it is too dark to take a photo, the on-board ﬂ ash can
provide the additional light required.
Press the ﬂ ash button repeatedly to select the follo-
wing ﬂ ash settings:

AUTO: The ﬂ ash is automatically enabled if
shooting conditions require additional
lighting.

Flash is triggered before the actual ﬂ ash;
used to prevent “red-eye” effect. The ca-
mera detects the brightness and only ﬂ as-
hes if necessary.

Flash always on

“Slow Sync”: The ﬂ ash is synchronised
with slow shutter speed.

Flash always off
