mSATA Hard Drive (optional)

Your notebook is supplied with an mSATA hard drive installed.
This mSATA hard drive will speed up your entire system. It optimises access speed to the
standard hard drive.
This has the benefit of making your notebook boot up and programs start more quickly.
The Intel® Rapid Boot technology is also supported in mSATA hard drives bigger than
32GB.

►

Put the notebook into standby mode as usual (Saving energy, page 29).

►

After a predefined time in the BIOS, which you can change to suit your personal

preferences, the notebook switches into hibernate mode automatically (Sleep
mode, page 29).

►

Switch the notebook on as normal using the on/off switch and the boot

procedure is completed in just a few seconds.

ATTENTION!

If you remove the mSATA hard drive, the notebook is no
longer able to function properly.

PLEASE NOTE!

Installations and modifications to your device should only
be carried out by qualified specialists.
Make sure to use only replacement parts provided by the
