Removing Software Programs
Removing a software program is not as simple as deleting a folder on your
hard drive. Although this will certainly stop the program from working, it will
leave stray parts of the program that can clutter up your system and reduce
your system’s performance. Instead, always use Windows’
Add or Remove
Programs feature to get rid of software that you don’t want on your
notebook.

Click Start , then select Control Panel , then Add or Remove
Programs .

A list of the programs installed on your computer will appear. Select
the program you would like to remove, then click the
Change/Remove button.

A dialog box will appear. Confirm that you want to remove the
program by clicking
Yes .
