16. Attach the skull clamp to the patient´s skull.
Place the completely opened skull clamp in the
desired position and compress the skull
holder.
Important: the skull clamp is not connected to
the lower part (swivel adapter, table connector)
Readjust the pressure on the skull using the
spring-loaded tensioning screw.
Build up pressure clockwise, reduce pressure
counter clockwise.
17. After the skull clamp has been fixed to the
head, it is screwed to the swivel adapter. The
swivel adapter is connected to the connecting
arm by screwing it tight so that it can no longer
be moved.
Position the head at the correct height. The
skull or skull holder is held by one person, the
second person turn the beige screw.
18. If not already done, the pin holder must now
be fixed. Please check whether it is fixed
before proceeding.
