TIPS AND TRICKS
Thicker slices: For thicker slices (with the cutting drum), increase the pressure when pressing food into the funnel.
Hard root vegetables: To slice, grate, or grind hard vegetables like potatoes and squashes, you may need to stop the cranking movement occasionally, and then break
the resistance by turning it back and forth.
Onions: Make sure that the onion‘s skin is facing outwards, to allow easier slicing or grating.
Garlic: Garlic is very sticky and must be cut or grated immediately. After placing in the funnel, do not allow it to rest, because it can clump and clog the blade. Do not
allow any residues to dry, clean the drum immediately.
Never exert too much pressure with the plunger, let the device work for you.
