Checking the anti-tilt wheels
Check the bearings in the
anti-tip wheel. If there is a
play, tightened it.
If this is not enoug, then
both bearings have to be
changed. (Art. No. Bearing
CR-00289)
Notice the number and the position of the washers.
Unmount any. protective cover, and loosen the nut. Note the
number and location of the washers.
When the nut and washers are removed, the wheel can be
gently pulled off the shaft.
Notice any spacers and their location.
Mounting in reverse order. Always use a new security nut.
All nuts are secured with Loctite 243 (blue).
Checking the central wheel
Place a piece of wood
or similar beneath the
chassis to lift the wheel
clear of the ground.
Unmount any protective
cover, and loosen the nut.
Notice any spacers and
their location.
