Press button to enter Step Record
menu, the flag would be turned on.
Select the track edit function by using , or
.
Press to to enter. System would allow
you to select a track to edit. You can then choose
a track by using
or pressing the track
buttons directly. There're 16 tracks and 1 ACMP
track for selection.
If ACMP track is recorded and you select to edit
a track with ACMP, the system would automatically
select the ACMP track, therefore you may not be
able to see all 16 melody tracks even selecting
by
or .
Press to confirm the melody track you
have selected. "ABC" will be turned off automa-
tically when a melody track has been selected.
Press next to enter the next menu.
The LCD will now display the type for beats.
Press
, to select beat with 4/4, 3/4, 2/4, 6/8,
and 3/8. The beat would be confirmed after
pressing
button. The voice can then be
selected as well. Confirm by pressing .
The display will now show "nput new event" and
its below displays the name of the track. You can
now start Melody Track recording. Input the
desired note, then input the time value by press-
ing the corresponding time value button.

If ACMP track was not empty, the beat setting
could not be changed. In this case, if you want to
change the beat, you may go back to the first level
of Step record menu by pressing
and to
step back in the menu by level or press
button to reach level directly.
If the record memory is full, the screen will display:
"Record Full" and system will exit STEP RECORD
mode automatically.
Press when the recording is
completed or recording is to be stopped.
