17. International regulations
17.1 Electromagnetic compatibility (EMC)
The Freestyle Hands-free breast pump complies with all requirements of the relevant
standards and regulations with regard to electromagnetic emission and immunity to
interference.
WARNING
The Freestyle Hands-free breast pump should not be used adjacent to or stacked with other
equipment. If adjacent or stacked use is necessary, the Freestyle Hands-free breast pump
should be observed to verify normal operation in the configuration in which it will be used.
Wireless communications equipment such as wireless home network devices, mobile
phones, cordless telephones and their base stations, walkie-talkies can affect the electric
breast pump and should be kept at a distance of at least 30 cm away from the device.
17.2 SIMPLIFIED EU DECLARATION OF CONFORMITY
Hereby, Medela declares that the radio equipment type Freestyle is in compliance with
