Problem Cause Solution
The cooling device is switched on,
no power connected.
Power cable is not plugged in
correct.
Connect power cable and plug.
The fuse is blown.
Replace fuse at the backside of the
device.
Flow rate warning (EO and alert)
despite correct connection between
inlet and outlet hose. No visible
cooling liquid flow.
Low cooling liquid level.
Check for leakage and fill up the
cooling liquid.
Flow rate warning signal (EO and
alert) after the cooling liquid has
been pumped into the HF-Spindle
system.
Liquid cooling level is to low
because the system has not been
fully filled with cooling liquid.
Top up cooling liquid and check for
leakages.
Very high temperatures, high
temperature alert (EO and alert).
Cooling device KG5000 isn't
ventilated accordingly.
Improve the air ventilation.
Extrem heat load, outdoor
temperature to high.
Reduce the heat load or exchange
the model.
Slow cooling liquid drain flow. Filler neck is closed. Open the filler neck.
Maintenance:
Make sure to disconnect the KG5000 cooling device from the power
grid before executing any type of maintenance works. Also make sure
that the cooling device housing (including internal components) has
reached a safe-to-work temperature level. Prevent direct skin contact
with hot cooling liquid to prevent risk of burns. Especially, when the
system has given out a temperature warning signal!
Repeatedly occurring warning signals should be an indicator for the
operator to contact and send the cooling device to its manufacturer.
Improper attempts to repair the device (especially with non-original
spare parts) result in an immediate loss of warranty claims. These
works increase the risks of electric shocks!
