Introduction
This manual will provide you with useful information that you will need to know in order
to perform Hemoglobin A1c (A1c) testing on the
Avie™
A1c Reader.

The Avie
™
A1c System provides quantitative measurement of the percent of glycated
hemoglobin levels in fingerstick (fresh capillary) whole blood samples. The test is for
professional use and physician directed home use at the point of care, to monitor
glycemic control in diabetic patients. The Avie
™
A1c Test System provides a simple,
reliable way to monitor glycemic control.
