Explanation for 3 stage charge curve
(0) Initial stage (battery analysis)

Check battery voltage level to see whether there is a battery
connected.
(1) Stage 1 (constant current)

A constant current is provided so that the battery can be quickly
charged to 2.4V per cell.
(2) Stage 2 (constant voltage)

A constant voltage of 2.4V per cell is provided until the charging
