Connection and Control Elements
(1)
On-off switch POWER
This switch switches the active cross-over on and off.
If the switch is set to I, the active cross-over is on (the POWER LED of the status display (4) is lit).
If the switch is set to 0, the active cross-over is switched off.
The on-off switch does not disconnect the device from the mains completely. To completely
disconnect the device from the mains, you have to pull the mains plug out of the mains socket.
(2)
LEVEL MAIN Control
This control sets the output level of the device for the subwoofer and the satellite speakers together.
Turning it clockwise increases the level.
Turning it counter-clockwise decreases the level.
If the output level is set too high, the downstream devices may over-modulate. They will cause
distortion.
(3)
LEVEL SUB control
This control sets the output level of the device for the subwoofer independently of the satellite speakers. This
makes it possible to influence the volume ratio between subwoofer and satellite speakers.
Turning it clockwise increases the subwoofer level.
Turning it counter-clockwise decreases the subwoofer level.
