10. Setting the Operating Modes
d) Slave Mode
• Push the button MODE until the display shows “SLAu”. “SLAu” means that the device is in slave mode.
• In this mode, the device is controlled by the controller of a master device connected to the DMX IN socket. The
light effects are generated synchronously to the light effects of the master device.
Only one device in the master-slave chain must be operated as master. All other connected
devices must be operated as slave devices.
e) Sound-to-Light Mode
• Push the button MODE until the display shows “SUxx”. “SU” means that the device is in sound-to-light operation,
“xx” shows the selected music sensitivity.
• Select the desired music sensitivity with the UP and DOWN buttons (“00” off to “31” highest sensitivity).
• Push the button SETUP and select the effect speed with the buttons UP and DOWN (“SP01”=lowest effect speed,
“SP10”=highest effect speed”).
The lower effect speeds are better for calm music; higher effect speeds are rather suitable for rhythmic
music with quick beats.
f) Operation with Fixed Colour Settings
• Push the button MODE until the display shows “Colr”.
• Push the button SETUP and select the desired colour intensity for red, green and blue with the buttons UP and
DOWN.
• “rxxx” means that the colour red has been selected and that the buttons UP or DOWN can adjust the value for
red intensity. The values for the green intensity (“gxxx”) and blue intensity (“bxxx”) are set accordingly.
