10. Commissioning
Only put the device into operation once you have become familiar with its features and these
operating instructions. Check again that all connections are correct. Do not put the product
into operation if it is damaged.
Always switch on the system’s amplifier last and off first. This will prevent any undesired noises,
e.g. when plugging in the mixer mains adapter, from damaging the amplifier or speakers.
Make sure that the connected devices are not overloaded. Playback must never be distorted. If
distorted music signals can be heard although the volume on the amplifier is not set too high,
switch off the device immediately and check the connection. If the connection is correct, please
contact a specialist.
The device must only be operated by persons familiar with the operating instructions and
observing them. Keep other persons and children away from the device.
11. Handling
• Never plug the power plug into a mains socket immediately after the device has been taken from a cold to a
warm environment. The resulting condensation may destroy the device. Allow the device to reach room tem-
perature before connecting it. Wait until the condensation has evaporated.
• For safety reasons, disconnect the mains adapter from the mains socket in case of an electrical storm.
• Do not listen to excessively loud music over an extended period of time. This may damage your hearing.
12. Maintenance
Regularly check the safety of the device, e.g. for damage to the mains adapter or the mixer casing.
If you have reason to assume that safe operation is no longer possible, disconnect the device immediately and
secure it against inadvertent operation. Pull the power unit out of the socket!
It can be assumed that safe operation is no longer possible if:
• there is visible damage to the device, mains adapter or mains adapter cable
• the device no longer works
• the device was stored under unfavourable conditions for an extended period of time or
• after exposure to extraordinary stress caused by transport
