6. Connections and Control Elements
14) CD/TAPE OUTPUT socket (cinch)
The inputs of a recording device (e.g. CD recorder) are connected to these asymmetrical cinch output sockets.
The CD/TAPE OUTPUT signal is identical to the MAIN output signal. Alternatively, a hifi amplifier can be connec-
ted to these asymmetric outputs.
15) AUX socket
The AUX sum signal is applied to the AUX socket. The socket is intended for connection of an monitor system.
16) EFFECT socket
The EFF sum signal is applied to the EFFECT socket. The socket is intended for connection of an effect device.
If the socket is assigned, the internal effect generator is deactivated. No effect signals of the effect generator are
available anymore at the outputs.
17) DISPLAY
The display shows current information on the playback medium (SD card / USB stick).
18) PHONES socket
Connection socket for stereo headphones (6.3mm jack plug).
Turn the PHONES control to the “0” position before plugging in, unplugging or putting on the
headphones or before switching the mixer on or off. There is a danger of damage to your hea-
ring from excessive volume at the headphones output.
19) Operating buttons MP3 player
These buttons allow you to operate the integrated MP3 player.
PLAY/PAUSE button
Use this button to start or pause playback.
Button NEXT/FORWARD
(forward)
Push this button to jump to the next track. Keep this button pushed to start
search (forwards).
REVIOUS/REWIND button
(backwards)
Push this button to jump to the start of the track or last track. Keep this
button pushed to start search (reverse).
STOP button

Press this button to stop playback.
The MP3 player is mixed to the MAIN output signal via the stereo channel 3/4.
