Electrical Connection
Power Supply Cord

Use a new UL liste d 3 0 amp power supply cor d .
Use a UL liste d strain relief.
Disconnect power b efore making electrical connections.
Neutral wire (white or center wire) must b e connecte d
to center silver terminal.
G roun d wire (green or b are wire) must b e connecte d to
green groun d connector.
Remaining 2 supply wires must b e connecte d to
remaining 2 gol d terminals.
Securely tighten all electrical connections.
Failure to d o so can result in d eath, fire, or
electrical shock.
Direct Wire

Use 10 g au g e solid copper wire.
Use a UL listed strain relief.
Disconnect power before makin g electrical connections.
Neutral wire (white or center wire) must be connected
to center silver terminal.
Ground wire ( g reen or bare wire) must be connected to
g reen g round connector.
Remainin g 2 supply wires must be connected to
remainin g 2 g old terminals.
S ecurely ti g hten all electrical connections.
Failure to do so can result in death, fire, or
electrical shock.
1. Disconnect power.
2. Remove the hold-down screw and terminal block cover.

3. Install strain relief.
Style 1: Power supply cord strain relief

Remove the screws from a ¾" (19 mm) UL listed strain relief (UL marking on strain
relief). Put the tabs of the two clamp sections into the hole below the terminal block
opening so that one tab is pointing up and the other is pointing down, and hold in
place. Tighten strain relief screws just enough to hold the two clamp sections together.
