Use
1. Place a suitable pan or similar vessel
with contents on the hob (

).
2. Switch on the device using the field
(

).
The fan (

) switches on.
ON
is
shown on the display (

If the control panel (

) is not
touched without a programme
being set for around 60 seconds,
a beep sounds and the device
automatically switches to standby
mode.
3. Set the programme you want (see the
“Overview of Functions” chapter).
4. During the cooking process, the pro-
gramme which was set last (power or
temperature) is shown on the display.
5. At the end of the cooking process,
touch the field
for around 3 sec-
onds to switch the device to standby
mode.
Important!
The fan remains active
after the device has switched off and
after the timer time has elapsed (see
next chapter). This is not a malfunc-
tion! The fan switches off automatically
after around 1 minute.
6. Pull the mains plug out of the plug
socket and allow the device to cool
down completely.#
Setting the Timer Time
In the device a timer can be set from 1
minute to 3 hours:
1. After starting the heating process,
touch the field
(

). The preset 10
minutes are shown on the display (
9
).
2. Use the fields
+
and
–
(
8, 10
) to adjust
the timer time (see the “Overview of
Functions” chapter).
3. The set timer time flashes for approx.
3 seconds before the timer starts.
4. During the cooking process, the
remaining timer time and the function
which was set last (power or temper-
ature) are shown alternately on the
display.
5. Once the timer time has elapsed, a
beep sounds and the device switches
to standby mode. While the timer
time is running, the device can be
manually switched to standby mode
at any time via the field
(

).
CLEANING AND STORAGE
Please Note!
■
No liquid must get into the device.
Never immerse the device in water!
■
Do not spray cleaning agents directly
onto the device.
■
Do not use any sharp or abrasive
cleaning agents or cleaning pads to
clean the device. These may damage
the surfaces.
•
Clean the housing with a soft, slightly
damp cloth and a little mild detergent.
•
Clean the hob (

) with a soft, damp
cloth and a little special cleaner for
glass ceramic. A special hob scraper
may be used to remove stubborn dirt.
•
Thoroughly dry off the device before
it is stored away.
•
Store the device in a dry place that
is protected from sunlight and is not
accessible to children and animals.
