F.  While assembling and using the Trailer 

Spare Tire Carrier keep work area clean and 

well lighted.  Keep spectators and children 

out of the work area.

  Use of the Trailer Spare Tire Carrier

A.     

 

   

Do not exceed the 

Spare Tire Carrier’s 100 Lbs. maximum 

weight capacity.

B.  Chock wheels of trailer during the instal-

lation of this Spare Tire Carrier.  Make sure

Be aware of the danger of “dynamic 

loading”

.  This situation arises when a 

load is dropped onto the Spare Tire Car-

rier, resulting in a short term excessive load.  

Dynamic loading can result in damage and 

failure of the Spare Tire Carrier and/or trailer, 

and personal injury to people in the area.

D.  Periodically check the mounted Spare 

Tire Carrier to make sure all hardware is 

tightly secured.  Check for damaged or worn 

parts;  never use a damaged Spare Tire Car-

rier.  Check that the hardware securing tire 

to Carrier is in good condition and secure.

E.  Identify recommended trailer spare tire 

mounting points;  read trailer manufacturer’s 

manual for recommendations and safety 

warnings.  Spare Tire Carrier and spare tire 

location cannot interfere with normal opera-

tion of the trailer.  Carrier location cannot in-

terfere with visibility of trailer lights or license 

plate.

F.  It is the responsibility of trailer’s owner to 

make sure the use of this product conforms 

with all D.O.T., and state rules and regula-

tions.  

Keep in mind that the warnings previ-

ously discussed cannot cover all pos-

sible events and circumstances.  It is 

important that the person installing and 

using this product use common sense at
