This device was designed according to the
IEC1010 standard (safety standard by the
International Electrotechnical Commission).
Please read the following safety information

Never use the device for measuring higher
values than 1000V DC or 750V AC.
•
Voltage lower than 36V is safe. Please verify
the grounding, connection and insulation
before measuring above 36V DC or 25V AC to
avoid electric shock.

Verify that the wires are not connected when
selecting the function or measuring range.
•
The device has built-in protection function,
but you need to be cautios as well for your
own safety.
