Place clean and empty 5 gallon bucket
under drain plug of reservoir

DRAIN PLUG
CAUTION
Keep dirt, water and other contaminants from entering the hydraulic system.
Before opening the hydraulic fl uid reservoir fi ller cap, drain plug and hydraulic
lines, clean up contaminants that can get in the openings. Also, protect the
openings from accidental contamination.
Never mix synthetic fl uids with conventional hydraulic fl uids. Hydraulic system
must be purged if the fl uids are mixed.
NOTE:
Keep the hydraulic oil
clean so it can be used
refi ll the reservoir.

Remove drain plug
(FIG. 2-1)
. Drain
hydraulic fl uid from reservoir. Reinstall
drain plug and tighten securely.

Disconnect hydraulic line from 90
º
elbow on the oil fi lter outlet
and
the 90
º
elbow on reservoir

. Next,
remove the 90
º
elbow from reservoir

. Then, remove the 90
º
elbow
from oil fi lter outlet
