LOCK-OFF BUTTON AND TRIGGER SWITCH

Your saw is equipped with a lock-off button.

To lock the trigger switch,

 push the lock-off button as shown 

in Fig. D. Always lock the trigger switch when carrying or 

storing the tool to eliminate unintentional starting. 

To unlock the trigger switch, 

push the lock-off button as 

shown in Fig. D. Pull the trigger switch to turn the saw on. 

Releasing the trigger switch turns the saw off.

VARIABLE SPEED

The variable speed trigger switch will give you added 

versatility. The further the trigger is depressed the higher the 

speed of the saw.

REMAINING POWER INDICATOR 

If the switch is turned on, the remaining power indicator 

lights for 5 seconds and the battery’s remaining power can be 

checked (Fig. E).

CAUTION!

Prolonged use at very slow speed may damage your saw.

WARNING! 

This tool has no provision to lock the switch in the ON position, 

and should never be locked ON by any other means.

INSTALLING AND REMOVING BLADES

When selecting a blade, choose the right type and length. Many types of blades are 

available for a variety of applications: cutting metal, wood, nail-embedded wood, scroll 

cutting, roughing-in, and contours. Use the appropriate blade for the application. The 

blade should be longer than 3 1/2” (89 mm) and should extend past the shoe and the 

thickness of the workpiece during the cut. Do not use jigsaw blades with this tool.

TO INSTALL BLADE INTO SAW

•     Pull blade clamp release lever up (Fig. F).
•     Insert blade shank from the front (Fig. G).
•     Push blade clamp release lever down (Fig. H).

To reduce the risk of serious personal injury, turn tool off 

and disconnect tool from battery pack before making 

any adjustments or removing/installing attachments or 

accessories. An accidental start-up can cause injury.

not extend past the shoe and the workpiece during the cut.
