Appendix A: Bench Power Supply
A Bench Power Supply may be used instead of the included wall wart supply.
It should be plugged in and connected to the DUT board as shown in Figure 6.
Configure the bench power supply as follows:
Set the output voltage to 5.0V.
Set the output current limit to 1.0A.
If supported, set the voltage display to
manual
with a range of at least 5V.
If supported, set the current display to
manual
with a range of at least 1A.
NOTE: When applying power to the DUT, be sure to leave power off for a minimum of 3 seconds
before powering again. Quick cycling of the power supply could damage the DUT.
