To fold down
: Lift the side support
upwards to unlock it, and swing it
down .
To fold up
: Swing the side support up
and push it down to lock it in place .
Side supports
The side supports can be folded up and down individually for easy transfer of the
patient . The end supports can be folded up and down individually for easy access
to the patient's feet/legs (putting on stockings, etc) .

WARNING
When the trolley is in use, make sure that all side supports are erect and in
locked position to protect the patient from falling out of the unit .
