Warning!
Minimum safety distance of 1 metre when fighting fires. Store the device out of the reach
of children. Do not aim the device at people/animals. Do not touch the nozzle directly after use (risk
of burn injury). Do not activate the device in a moving vehicle if the driver requires a clear view. Keep
all body parts behind the nozzle while using the extinguisher.
Information:
The MAUS Xtin Grand uses potassium-based smoke to extinguish fires. It leaves no
discharge residue and the smoke is completely non-toxic. No risk of explosion in the event of fire
or extreme pressure (collision). Operational temperature range -20°C – +60°C (-4° – +140°F).
Dismantling the device voids the guarantee and entails a major risk of personal injury. Store in a
dry and ventilated place – not with combustible material. The guarantee is valid for 5 years from the
date of manufacture (see marking on device). Devices are CE marked and certified by RINA S.p.A.
Fire classes:
RINA S.p.A. has certified the MAUS Xtin Grand for fires rated Class B (flammable liquids
such as oil, petrol and lighter fluid) and Class C (gases such as liquid petroleum gas and ammonia).
In addition to Class B and Class C, the device is capable of extinguishing smaller fires rated Class
A (wood, paper and plastic), Class F (cooking oils and fats) small electrical fires. The device is not
capable of extinguishing burning metals such as those found in flares and may not be effective on
glowing ember. 21BC.
IMPORTANT!
Begin with a starting position of 1 meter distance as you start to fight the fire. As the
flames decrease approach the fire to extinguish completely. It is of the highest importance that all of
the aerosol is exhausted on the fire.
MAUS Xtin Grand has a limited ability and shall not
replace approved fire extinguishers.
