• Grab

To acquire an image from a video source.

• Horizontal blanking period

The portion of a video signal after the end of a line and before the beginning of 
a new line

. 

During this period, the video signal is "blank".

• Latency

The time from when a command is sent to when its operation is started. 

• Line valid synchronization signal

The signal that indicates the start and end of a line (row).

• LVDS

Low-voltage differential signalling

. LVDS offers a general-purpose, high bandwidth 

interface standard for serial and parallel data interfaces that require increased

A device used to convert the angular position of a shaft or axle to an analog or
