Knowing Your DSS70

DSS70 is an easy to use feature rich operator console. It possess
1 line x 16 character adjustable LCD, 46 keys with LED indication and
24 other keys. The functions and the use of each of them is explained
below:

The 1 line X 16 character Display

• A 16 x 1 alphanumeric LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) is used. This

displays the message in a lines with 16 characters in each line.

• This display is backlit and can be adjusted by the user as per his

need. This helps the user to read the messages on the LCD
without leaning forward and in different room conditions.

• During normal operation, the display gives information about the

active call. Counts of internal and trunk pending calls are always
displayed on the right. So, the operator always knows how many
calls are pending.

• While DSS70 is being used for programming or other control

functions, pending call counts are not displayed. Different
messages are displayed on LCD on different occasions.
