Before putting into service in potentially explosive areas:
Fix the earthing or ground cable for potential balance to a suitable point.
If the drum is not earthed due to the type of set-up, arrange separate earthing.
Operation:
- Fix the suction pipe to the pump
- Place the pump with the suction pipe on the 200-litre drum. Screw the drum adapter into the drum
- Make sure the earthing terminal is has a secure conductive connection.
- The pump is now ready for use
- Actuate the pump with the shut-off tap open until delivery begins.
- Comply with the safety instructions.
Safety Instructions:
Non-compliance with the safety instructions can result in danger both to persons and to the
environment and the equipment. Non-compliance with the safety instructions can lead to the
loss of any claims for damages. The operator of the equipment must ensure that the
contents of the Operating Instructions, particularly the Safety Instructions are known to the
operating personal.
Close the shut-off tap after use and hang the outlet pipe in the eye on the pump.
Only use genuine accessories approved by MATO. If parts from other sources are used the
operational safety of the equipment cannot be guaranteed. Any claim to warranty is then invalid.
Comply with the permissible pressures.
Check regularly that the earthing or ground cable for potential balance is securely fixed and for
conductivity.
Breathing in fuel vapours should be avoided. Ensure adequate ventilation.
Comply with the nationally applicable regulations for dealing with materials harmful to water.
Nationally applicable EX-protection measures should be checked and adhered to
Maintenance and care:
The MATO reciprocating pump is maintenance-free in operation.
Check pressurised and current carrying parts (earthing cable) of the pump regularly for any damage.
Defective parts must be replaced immediately.
DIGIMET M80-VITON built-in flow meter
The MATO built-in flow meter operates on the volumetric measuring principle. Depending on the flow
rate, a swash plate transfers a rotary motion to the meter. The meter is fully mechanical in operation.
No batteries are needed.
If the display shows discrepancies (inaccuracies) the meter can be calibrated by the customer himself.
