F. Setting and adjustment of temperature
•
Open the access cover on the bottom front of the cabinet
•
The thermostat is set by the factory at the mid-range point. Turning the knob
clockwise will cause the cabinet to become colder, and vice-versa. Generally,
there is no need to adjust the cabinet temperature from its factory setting
•
Please note the cabinet has a defrost timer preset for several times per day to
prevent ice build-up in the evaporator coil
G. General operation
1.
Condensate Drain Tray
This tray collects the condensed water vapor from the humidity that ingresses
the cabinet’s interior by opening the cabinet door. Therefore, the higher the
humidity in which the cabinet is placed, the more frequent the tray will need
emptying. Similarly, the more frequently the door is opened, the greater the
build up of condensate
2.
Door
Ensure the door is properly closed at all times. If not, the evaporator coil will
build up with ice and your cabinet will not function correctly. Try to educate
your customer to make a choice before opening the door, rather than holding
the door open whilst making a choice. This will also assist in the cabinet
maintaining the correct temperature
3.
Air Circulation
Internally - when loading your cabinet, allow sufficient room for the air to
circulate around the cabinet and your product. The more compacted the
product, the greater the time for your load to cool. Do not impede air flow to
either the air discharge or air inlet grilles
Externally – allow 10 cm gap between the cabinet and any wall. Do not build
the cabinet into a confined space without first considering sufficient air
circulation for the condenser
