Insert the replacement collet into the
spindle and replace the collet nut by turning
it clockwise while holding the spindle lock
button down.
NOTE:
Do not tighten the collet nut without
an accessory installed in the collet. You will
damage the collet.
Installing accessories
1.
Turn the switch OFF and disconnect the tool
from the power source.
2.
Depress the spindle lock button (1) and
slowly turn the collet nut (2) until the spindle
lock button locks the spindle (fig. 3).
3.
While holding the spindle lock button down,
turn the collet nut counter-clockwise until
the collet is loose inside the collet nut.
4.
Insert accessory (3) into collet.
NOTES:
a) Make sure the correct collet is used for the
accessory. If collet is too large, replace the collet
with the next smaller size.
b) Insert accessory at least 3/4" into the collet.
5.
Press the spindle lock button and engage
it in the spindle. While holding the spindle
lock button down, hand-tighten the collet by
turning it clockwise.
NOTE:
Do not use pliers to tighten the collet
nut. Use the small wrench (4) supplied. Over
tightening will cause damage to the tool.
6.
Pull on the accessory to ensure it is securely
in place.

Installing the right angle
attachment
1.
Remove the nose nut (1) from the tool by
turning it counter-clockwise (fig. 4).
2.
Remove the collet nut (2) and collet (3) from
the spindle (4).
3.
Insert the short end of the drive shaft (5) into
the motor spindle (6) until the stopper (7)
touches the shaft (fig. 5).
4.
Slide the collet nut (8) over the drive shaft
(9) and thread it onto the motor spindle by
turning the collet nut clockwise. Tighten the
collet nut using the collet wrench.
NOTE:
Press the spindle locking button (10)
inward to lock the spindle while loosening or
tightening the collet nut.
5.
Remove the right angle attachment adapter
(11) and collar (12) from the right angle
attachment (13) by turning the collar
counter-clockwise.
6.
Insert the attachment adapter through
the mounting collar and thread it onto
the threaded nose nut mounting (14) by
turning the right angle attachment adaptor
clockwise.
NOTE:
Only tighten by hand. Do NOT use
pliers or wrench.
7.
Insert the end of the drive shaft into the hole
in the right angle attachment (15).
NOTE:
Rotate the right angle attachment
collet nut (16) as you push the right angle
attachment onto the adaptor until the
square end of the drive shaft inserts into
the matching square in the right angle
attachment.
