INSPECTION AND MAINTENANCE

WARNING! RISK OF INJURY!

• TO PREVENT SERIOUS INJURY FROM FAILURE: Do not use if damaged. 
   If abnormal noise or vibration occurs, have the problem corrected before further use.
• 

BEFORE EACH USE,

 inspect the general condition of the electric sharpener.

   Check for loose screws, misalignment or binding of moving parts, cracked or broken 
   parts, damaged electrical wiring, and any other condition that may affect its safe 
   operation.
• Store the unit in such a way that it cannot be started by unauthorised persons.

NOTICE! Risk of damage to the unit!

Do not store sharpener unprotected in a damp environment.
• Clean unit before storing.
• Store the tool in a dry and well-ventialted place.
• Unfavourable ambient conditions during storage may accelerate the aging process 
   for grinding tools.

Cleaning

• Check the power cable and plug for damage.
• Conduct a visual inspection and have the cable replaced by an electrician 
   if necessary.
• Cleaning the device.
• Wipe the unit with a damp cloth. Remove grinding residue with a dry brush.

Maintenance

• Before conducting any maintenance on the device, disconnect the mains plug.
• Only those maintenance and fault elimination tasks described here may be carried out. 
   Any other tasks must be completed by a specialist.
• Only use original replacement parts. Only these replacement parts are designed and 
   suitable for the device. Other replacement parts will not only lead to an invalidation of 
   the warranty, they may also endanger you and your environment.
