TROUBLESHOOTING
Problem
Possible Cause
Solution
Unit will not
power on.
Heater is not plugged into
a 120 V outlet.
Ensure the unit is in OFF position,
plug in unit and attempt to turn
on again.
Power light is on,
but the unit is
not emitting
heat.
Room temperature has
warmed up to the
thermostat setting.
To increase the room
termperature, adjust thermostat
control knob to a higher setting
by turning clockwise.
The heater is
creating a
burning smell.
Check and ensure there
are no combustible
materials 3' (0.9 m)
surrounding the heater.
Remove the combustible items
adjacent to the heater.
CAUTION!

Always disconnect the heater from the electrical power source before handling. If the system fails
to operate properly, carefully read instructions and perform maintenance recommendations. If it
persist, the troubleshooting chart above may be of assistance in identifying and correcting them.
