HOSE FLUSHING:
The hose flushing capability is used when switching from a standard
R1234yf vehicle to a hybrid R1234yf system. This process is incorporated to ensure the
removal of any non-compatible oil when switching from a standard to a hybrid system
WARNING:
Failure to hose flush prior to servicing a hybrid can cause irreversible damage to
the A/C system and could cause the A/C compressor to conduct a deadly amount of electrical
current.
Follow the instructions displayed on the screen.
1.
Connect the couplers to the flush fittings on the side of the machine.
2.
Open the couplers by turning the knobs completely clockwise.
3.
Open the red and blue valves on the front of the machine. Press next to continue.
4.
The machine will now run a hose flushing cycle. This could take several minutes
to ensure the removal of non-compatible oil. Press done to return to main screen.
o
IDENTIFICATION:
The identification process ensures that R1234yf refrigerant is in the system.
Follow the instructions on the screen. This process will also be performed each time the
machine begins the tank filing or recovery procedure

VEHICLE FLUSH: Purchase of a flush hose required.
Vehicle flush uses the refrigerant to flood a
closed A/C system in order to remove most of the A/C oil. The machine will drain any collected oil
into the used oil bottle. The same quantity of new oil can then be injected into the A/C system to
increase the compressor life.
NOTE:
The condition of the A/C oil should first be checked to determine if flushing is necessary or
appropriate. See Mastercool A/C System Visual Inspection Sight Glass.
