the enclosure facing forward. The top of the cabinet features a channel down which all connecting cables are laid and there is a

cable entry position at the back so connections can be made and hidden by the hinged cover. There is also a hinged ventilation

cover above the connection panel which must be opened during operation; at a distance this is the only obvious sign that you

are viewing the rear of the enclosure.

In common with MLA and MLD, the MLX features a Martin Audio logo which can be illuminated via Vu-Net software to identify

its location on the U-Net network, to ensure complete compatibility when an MLX is used rear-facing, there is also an illuminated

logo on the rear of the enclosure, the choice of which badge lights is made in Vu-Net.

Rigging

MLX rigging is a derivative of the MLA rigging system. As there is no requirement for multiple angles each rigging bar on all four

corners at the bottom of the cabinet are relatively short with a single hole to locate into either the MLX below it or into the MLA

flying grid for combination flown arrays. The rigging bar hinges up and is secured in its stored position with a flying pin. Each MLX

has a slot and single hole on all four corners at the top of the cabinet to accept either the rigging bar from another MLX above it

or the drop-down bars on the MLA flying grid.
