Recommended Fuse Sizes (R22 and R407C systems)
The system and its supply/interconnecting wiring must be protected by fuses, preferably High Rupture Current (HRC)
motor rated types (to EN 60269) or miniature circuit breakers (to EN 60898) or local codes having similar time lag
characteristics, that allow starting of the compressor yet still afford close overcurrent protection under running
conditions. The ratings below are for HRC motor rated fuses.
