Remote Receiver Location
For GT Series Remotes Only
The Remote Receiver may be located
inside of the unit- several inches to
the left of the valve and near the front
of the appliance.
The Remote Receiver
MUST
be
covered by the DCHS (Remote
Control Heat Shield- see Parts List in
manual).
For All IPI Installations & GT Series
Remotes Only
The Remote Receiver may be located
outside of the unit- up to a maximum
of 6 feet from either side of the
fireplace. An Extension Harness (Part
No. 1001-P904SI) is required.
The face of the Remote Receiver
must be accessible for programming
the remote as well as changing the
batteries.

IPI Electronic Ignition System
SYSTEM NOTE:
In the event of an operational lockup the IPI system must be reset by removing the batteries
from both the backup pack and the remote receiver module.
