OPERATION
Read the Operating Instructions carefully before use
INSTALLATION
NOTE.
Follow the instructions below for the best reception.
1.
Position the antenna away from sources of inter-
ference. The antenna can be disrupted by appli-
ances that consume a large amount of power,
such as lifts, air conditioning, hairdryers, micro-
wave ovens, etc.
2.
If the antenna is being used indoors, it should be
located close to a window.
3.
Position the antenna as high up as possible to
reduce the risk of any obstacles between the
antenna and the transmitter mast blocking the
signal.
CONNECTION
The antenna can be connected directly to the TV or to a DTV decoder.
Connection directly to the TV
1. Make sure the TV is switched off.
2.
Connect the antenna’s coaxial cable to the ampli-
fi
er’s input (labelled for antenna).
3.
Connect the ampli
fi
er’s coaxial cable to the TV’s
antenna input.
4.
Position the coaxial cable so that there is no risk
of treading on it, trapping it or tripping over it.
Connection to DTV decoder
1. Make sure the decoder is switched off.
2.
Connect the antenna’s coaxial cable to the ampli-
fi
er’s input (labelled for antenna).
3.
Connect the ampli
fi
er’s coaxial cable to the de-
coder’s antenna input.
4.
Connect the decoder to the TV with AV cables
(A) or coaxial cable (B).
5.
Position the coaxial cable so that there is no risk
of treading on it, trapping it or tripping over it.
