Via the AUX cable
NOTE:
When a device is connected to the AUDIO INPUT connector, the function of the buttons on the
speaker is limited. Control music playback using the controls on the connected device.
1.
Connect the AUX cable's red and white plugs to the white (L) and Red (R) AUDIO INPUT
connections at the rear of the speaker.
2.
Connect the green plug at the other end of the cable to the external device's headphone
socket (smartphone, PDA or MP3 player).
3.
Open a media player on the device and press PLAY to play the music.
4.
Control music playback and volume using the controls on the connected device.
TROUBLESHOOTING
You can pair the Bluetooth device with the speaker but no music is heard.
• Check that the Bluetooth unit supports the profile A2DP.
• Increase the volume on the Bluetooth device.
• Disconnect the pairing and pair the devices again.
You cannot pair the Bluetooth device with the speaker.
• Place the speaker and the Bluetooth device within 1 metre of each other during pairing.
• Press and hold the SELECT INPUT button until the Bluetooth status lamp lights. A voice that says
Pairing will be heard and the status lamp starts to flash blue.
• Check that Bluetooth is enabled on the device.
• Repeat pairing as instructed.
• Check that speaker is fully charged or that the power cord is connected.
Pairing mode on the speaker cannot be activated.
• Press and hold the SELECT INPUT button until the Bluetooth status lamp lights. The speaker is in
pairing mode when a voice says Pairing and the status lamp starts to flash blue.
