Thank you for buying the Marmitek Mini Controller. Please read these operating
instructions first in order to obtain maximum pleasure from your purchase. Please
also carefully observe all the instructions for safe use of the product.
SAFETY WARNINGS
• To prevent short circuits, this product should only be used inside and only in dry spaces.
Do not expose the components to rain or moisture. Do not use the product close to a
bath, swimming pool etc.
• Do not expose the components of your systems to extremely high temperatures or bright
light sources.
• Do not open the product: the device contains live parts. The product should only be
repaired or serviced by a qualified repairman
• In case of improper usage or if you have opened, altered and repaired the product
yourself, all guarantees expire. Marmitek does not accept responsibility in the case of
improper usage of the product or when the product is used for purposes other than
specified. Marmitek does not accept responsibility for additional damage other than
covered by the legal product responsibility.
• Adapters: Only connect the adapter to the mains after checking whether the mains
voltage is the same as the values on the identification tags. Never connect an adapter or
power cord when it is damaged. In that case, contact your supplier.
All warranties are invalidated in the event of incorrect use, unauthorised modifications or
repairs. Marmitek accepts no responsibility in the event of incorrect use of the product or if it
is used other than for the intended purpose.
1. Introduction
The Infra-Red Mini Controller lets you remotely control lights and appliances from the control
of your armchair. Place it near your home entertainment system or by your bedside as you
like. With your Infrared Universal Remote Control (X10 compatible), or with your RF X10
Remote Control, or by pressing the buttons on your Mini Controller, you can turn off your
appliances or lights around your home without getting out of your easy chair. You can turn
off your child’s radio, TV or night light from your bedroom. You can turn your lights on with
the push of a button on your remote control if you hear a suspicious noise at night. With
your Infra-Red Mini Controller, you can control virtually all electrical appliances in your home.
Features
• Lets you remotely control up to 8 X10 Modules (16 with the remote control) from
anywhere in your home. You plug lamps and appliances into the "Lamp" or "Appliance
Modules".
• Receives commands from your Remote Control (Infrared or RF).
