operated. After the transformer has been turned off, it must
never be carried by holding it by its power cord.
1. Safety Information for the Operation of
Märklin Transformers
Read the following safety information before using a
Märklin transformer for the first time:
• All transformers must be plugged only into an outlet with
the household current indicated on the face plate of the
transformer.
Example: Identification plate for the 120 volt transformer.

3 – Yellow terminal clip (power conductor for turnouts, signals, etc.)
4 – Gray terminal clip (ground conductor for turnouts, signals, etc.)
5 – Brown terminal clip (ground conductor for track power)
6 – Red terminal clip (power conductor for track power)
