Important safeguard
When using any electrical appliance, basic precautions should
always be followed:
Read all instructions before using
z
Before use check that the voltage power corresponds to the
z
one shown on the appliance name plate
Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow
z
to cool before cleaning the appliance
Do not let cord hang over edge of a table or counter, or touch
z
hot surface.
Place the appliance on a flat surface. Do not place on heated
z
surface.
To protect against electric shock, do not immerse cord, plug
z
or appliance in water or other liquids.
Close supervision is necessary when any appliances is used
z
by or near children.
Never insert oversized food or metal foil or other utensils into
z
the appliance
Do not touch hot surface, use handle only.
z
Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or
z
after the appliance malfunctions.
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the
z
manufacturer or its service agent or a similar qualified person
in order to avoid a hazard.
Do not use outdoors.
z
Do not use the appliance for other than intended use.
z
Save these instructions.

Operation:
This sandwich toaster incorporates an interchangeable cook
-
z
ing plate. Choosing your desired cooking plate, which is de
-
pendent on the task to the performed.
Connect the plug into rated voltage and the cooking surface be
-
z
gins pre-heating and the red lamp will be illuminated. Once the
cooking surface has reached the preset temperature (usually
it will take about 6 minutes) the green lamp will be illuminated
and this sandwich maker is ready to toast.
Place one slice of bread on the bottom of heating plate with the
z
greased side down, and add filling one the bread. Then place
another slice of bread on the filling with the greased side up.
Close the sandwich toaster and lock the handle.
z
Open the sandwich maker after 2-3 minutes and check whether
z
the toasted sandwich is sufficiently “brown”. The cooking time
required to obtain crisp brown sandwiched depends on the
type of bread, filling and your personal taste.
Unplug the sandwich maker from the power socket after
z
use.
Note:
During cooking, the green “Ready To Cook” pilot lamp cycles on
and off to maintain the correct temperature of the appliance.
Caution:
If too much food is inserted into the appliance and the sandwich
z
toaster cannot be closed, never close it with undue force as
this could damage the lock.
Never use sharp fork or knife to remove the food as this would
z
damage the non-stick coating of cooking surface. Use heat-
resistant wood or plastic utensils only.
Always unplug the appliance from the power socket when
z
not in use.
cleaning and Maintenance:
Unplug the appliance from the power supply and wait for it to
z
completely cool down before cleaning.
Use a soft wet cloth to wipe the cooking surface and never
z
use an abrasive cleaner to wipe the cooking plate otherwise
the non-stick coating would be easily damaged.
Clean the sandwich maker every time after use.
z
