Surround Speaker
The surround speakers should be placed alongside and
slightly to the ear of (but not behind) the prime seating posi-
tion; well above ear level, to help minimize localization effects;
and aimed directly across the listening area, not down at the
listeners. This arrangement creates a diffuse , enveloping
surround sound field throughout the listening area, like that
in cinemas and in the dubbing theaters where sound tracks
are mixed. If the speakers are too far forward, you won’t get
sufficient rearward effect, and if the speakers are too far
back, there will be a loss of envelopment and integration of
the surround information with the whole sound field.
Place the surround speakers along side and slightly to
rear of the seating area.
Install the surround speakers two to three feet above
listeners.
Aim the surrounds speakers straight across, not the lis-
teners area.
Troubleshooting
No sound from speakers or no
power.
System does not connected with power.

Check with the power plug.
The speaker cables are not connected (or are con-
z
nected wrong) with the output connector. Check the
speaker cables.
The power does not switch ON. Make sure
z
the power switch at the back panel is on.
No sound effect from speaker
when choose DVD output mode
Make sure the setup of DVD player. Please change
z
output mode in DVD setup into 5.1 CH.
Distortion occurred when in high
volume
The sound device has too high level signal output.

Turn down the volume in source device or the master
volume in the system.
Note!
The proper combination of input and output mode
(both the active subwoofer and the supply source AUX or
DVD) will produce optimize sound quality. Please refer to
both Instruction Manual.
Note!
Some DVD device has high level signal output.
When the master volume is turn high until the distortion
occurs, please turn down the master volume to prevent
damaged to the speakers and amplifier.
No bass
Check the Subwoofer volume is not mute.
