3.6. Message settings

When the idle screen is displayed, press (icon) or (icon)
to enter the menu directly.

Press (icon) to select Messages menu.

Scroll (icon) to Setup option and press (icon) to enter. This option
allows you to set the following contents:
SMS Center:
The number of Message Center must be entered before
you perform the Send Message function. Your network operator will pro-
vide the number. Remember to enter SMS Center number first before you
send SMS.
Valid Time:
Choose the Network Hold option and set the effective sending
time limit, which could be 12 hours, 1 day, 1 week, 1 month or Max Time.
Status Report:
This allows you to choose the On or Off option. If the On
option is selected, the network operator will be requested to report the mes-
sage-sending situation.
3.7. Broadcast
The Information Service Station will send public information to its phone
users. You can receive the information only when your network operator pro-
vides this service. The public information is classified in accordance with the
subjects. Each subject is specifically corresponding to a kind of information,
such as weather, stock and flight etc. Please contact with your network ope-
rator to understand the types of information subjects provided.
