OPERATION
(Note: We recommend an initial dry run before filling extractor)
1) Fill extractor with uncapped frames. If you are running less than a full load, position frames to best
balance the load.
2) Set extractor speed dial to zero or preferred low speed initial setting.
3) Set pump speed dial to your desired setting.
4) Set your desired rotation direction.
5) Set the timer. The extractor will not run without the timer being turned on.
6) Turn pump toggle to “ON” and adjust speed as desired.
7) Turn extractor power toggle to “ON”
8) Adjust extractor speed to desired setting for the initial spin, usually just fast enough that honey starts
to flow out of the frames.
(Note: Use extreme caution if opening lids while extractor is in motion.)
Run at this setting for a couple of minutes, and adjust speed to a mid-level speed. Again, allow extractor
to run for a few minutes before adjusting to your desired top speed. Allow extractor to finish the cycle at
this setting. The extractor can be turned off manually or it will shut down when the timer reaches zero.
9) If you have excess honey in the extractor, allow the pump to continue running as you reload the
extractor for your next batch.
SET UP:
1. Carefully remove extractor and pump from the shipping crate/pallet. Secure the extractor to the floor
using holes in the foot plates. Unwrap and attach pump to the extractor using the included sanitary
clamp and seal. Ensure pump and extractor are free from any packaging materials or other debris.
2. Plug the pump motor into the receptacle on the far end of the extractor.
3. Supply power to the extractor.
NOTE: This extractor runs on a 220 V setup.
