INTRODUCTION
Head Lice are wingless insects which, when full grown, are about the size of a
sesame seed. Head Lice cannot survive the cold so they cling to the hair close
to the scalp for warmth. These parasites have been around for thousands
of years and are harmless, although they can cause severe scalp itching.
Fortunately, they can now be completely eliminated with only a ten minute
treatment.
The
Maniquick Electric Lice Comb
is designed to easily eradicate Head Lice
and prevent spreading to other family members. It is effective on Head Lice
and on Nits, once they have reached sufficient size. The parasite must be of
sufficient size to come in simultaneous contact with two teeth of the Comb.
This is easier with the Louse which averages 2-3 mm in size, but is more
difficult with the Nit, which is smaller, averaging only 1mm. For this reason
the
Maniquick Electric Lice Comb
should be used for several consecutive
days, increasing the chance to eradicate the Nits as they grow in size. It is
recommended that the
Maniquick Electric Lice Comb
be used one or twice
a week for a period in order to prevent re-infestation.
