The external sensor is used in cases when the regulator is installed in a place where it is not possible to
measure the temperature correctly. Use the analog sensor Pt1000 designed for rooms, industrial spaces
(high resistance) or the outdoors (higher coverage). The temperature range of the external sensor is -20
to +50 °C. If the sensor is not connected (terminals disconnected), the temperature is automatically taken
from the internal sensor.Regulation parameters, hysteresis, time programs, etc., can be set using the
configuration software ModComTool, which is free to download at www.domat.cz.If the difference
between the measured temperature and the desired temperature is large(eg. more than 2 K), both
outputs are on and the heating system operates at 100%. If the temperature gets closer to 1 K of the
desired temperature, the DO2 switches off. The heating then heats at 50% and when the room is heated
to the desired temperature, the DO1 contact also switches off and the regulator waits for the temperature
to drop. The regulator contains a real-time clock with a weekly program (6 events per day). It switches
between Comfort, Economy, and Off modes. Each mode has a target value for heating. The values are
selectable in the control menu or by remote control. The display alternates between the current time and
temperature measurement.
Turn the control knob clockwise - the set temperature increases, turn the knob counterclockwise - the
set temperature decreases. Note that the temperature correction setting is canceled when the time
program transitions into a different mode! The temperature correction can not be set in Off mode.
The weekly time program switches between Day, Night, Inactive and Off modes according to the table
of events. Up to 6 transitions between modes can be defined in one day.Switch to the time program with
a long press of the knob (> 1 second). The control with switch to the clock setting (clock symbol is
displayed). Turn the knob to select a day of the week (1 to 7). Confirm your selection with a short press
of the knob. Turn the knob to select an event (large number 1 to 6). Each event has a mode symbol to
which it switches the event - Day (sun), Night (moon), Off (empty house), Inactive (Off-On symbol). Note
In Off mode the DO1 and DO2 contacts are switched off and the temperature can not be corrected.
Confirm your selection with of event by short press of the knob. Turn the knob to select an operating
mode for this event (Day, Night, Off, Inactive). If the event is inactive, the previous operating mode at the
time of the event does not change - the event therefore has no influence on the operation of the control.
Confirm the operating mode setting with a short press. The time of the event will show on the display.
Turn the knob to adjust the desired time of the event (what time it should switch to the desired mode)
and confirm with a short press. Then turn the knob to select another event on the given day, or select
another day of the week with a long press and turn of the knob. After setting all the desired events, exit
the time program setting with a long press of the knob. The regulator will automatically return to the
temperature display, just like after 30 seconds of inactivity.
Switch to settings mode with a very long press of the knob (> 5 seconds). The regulator will switch to the
mode where the desired temperature is set for individual operating modes (indicated by thermometer
symbol).

Real time and day of the week (hours, one day of the week 1..7)
●
Desired heating temperature, day (flashing thermometer, heating, sun)
●
Desired heating temperature, night (flashing thermometer, heating, moon)
Confirm your selection with a short press. Turn the knob to change the temperature. Confirm the new
value with a short press.
The regulator will automatically return to the temperature display after 30 seconds of inactivity.
