OID is control system for two-stage control of radiant heaters. It consist of switchboard OI and controller
UC301. The switchboard OI is available for one to six heaters, the number of heaters connected is
indicated by the number in the OID type, OID 1 to OID 6.
1 main control switch.
The „I“ position centrally turns on the OID control
The „0“ position centrally shuts off the OID control
2 three-position switch for each heater
Positions:
●
in this case the heater is manually ON,
regardless of the MANDÍK UC301 regulator
●
- central position In this case the
specific heater is manually OFF
●
in this case the heater is controlled
automatically by MANDÍK UC301 regulator
3 power indicator light for each heater
4 operating indicator light for each heater
1. Switch the main electrical switch „0 “ to the „ I“ position.
2. Turn the control switch of individual heaters „ - STOP - “ manually „ “ or automatically
„ “ the electric network green indicator light will light up „ “ on the control box. (the number of
switches will vary depending on the type of control box - OID 1 to OID 6. OID 1 controls 1 Helios
heater, OID 6 controls 6 Helios heaters)
3. After the venting time (about 50 seconds) the infrared heater starts up and the green indicator light
lights up on the control box „ “ and orange indicator light at the bottom of the burner box of the
heater.
4. In case the burner is not fired (the orange lamp of operation on the control box is not alight), the cycle
is repeated twice. If it does not ignite even the third time, the red indicator light on the burner box lights
up to indicate an error. For unblocking the error state, the power supply of the heater must be
disconnected and reconnected (turn the control switch „ - STOP - “ to the „STOP“ position and
back to „ “ or „ “. If the infrared heater fails to work after multiple ignition cycles, call your service
organization.
5. The performance of two-stage infrared heaters in the case of OID is controlled automatically by the
MANDÍK UC301 regulator.
6. Temperature sensor - the temperature sensor is a standard part of the UC301 regulator. If necessary,
the temperature sensor ASTF Pt 1000 can be connected to the regulator for measuring radiant
temperature. A detailed procedure for changing the sensor can be found below in the regulator manual.
