The
M&C
gas cooler type
ECM-ExII
is a compressor cooler equipped with a status alarm for safe and
continuous operation.
Up to 2 Jet-stream heat exchangers made of Borosilicate glass, PVDF or stainless steel are located in
a heat-insulated cooling block, where they are easy to access and to remove.
Figure 3 shows a diagram of the heat exchanger function. The compressor cooler system keeps the
heat-insulated cooling block at a constant temperature of +5 °C [+41 °F].
The controlled, forced-air cooled compressor cooling system and the special design of the Jet-stream
heat exchanger ensure excellent condensate pre-separation and sample gas drying.
